Pacoima Dam & Reservoir

The Pacoima Dam was built in 1929 in order to provide flood control and water conservation (LADPW) It is at 1,950 feet elevation and has a capacity of >6,000 acre-feet. In the winter of '04/'05 when this picture was taken, it filled with sediment-rich water and debris.
