Sycamore Pocket Park

The NW corner of Laurel Canyon & Valleyheart is currently an eyesore, though it holds great promise as a spectacular entrance to the River Greenway as well as a community information and gathering spot.

The River Project is creating an overall design for a 4,000 sq. ft. pocket park at this corner featuring native landscaping, the Sycamore Arch (designed by local artist Karl Johnson), boulders, seating areas, and a dog watering station. The park can be implemented in the next phase of the greenway development.
