Description: Along the extensive school frontage, a paved elementary school playground next to the bike path was torn up and is being replaced by grass. Tree People and Sony spearheaded recent community planting projects on both the elementary and middle school campuses close to the creek, also involving paving removal, some art and native plants. Middle school planting project includee a creek-close butterfly garden, maintained by the science department, who use the attractive area for daily gatherings.
