The Malibu Creek Watershed is located in the northwest corner of Los Angeles County. It is bounded on the north, west, and east by the Santa Monica Mountains and on the south by the Pacific Ocean. The watershed area is comprised of approximately 109 square miles. Its major tributaries are Las Virgenes Creek., Triunfo Creek, and Cold Creek. The watershed is comprised of all or parts of the Cities of Agoura Hills, Calabasas, Malibu, Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village, unincorporated Los Angeles County, and Ventura County.
