Internship Opportunities

The River Project, an environmental non-profit (501c3) organization, is looking for interns to work on projects related to protecting and restoring open space along the rivers and streams of Los Angeles.

Skills we are looking for include (but are not limited to)

• community organizing
• filing & general clerical work
• presentation design
• event planning
• grant writing

Opportunities exist to work in public policy, community organizing, education, urban planning, restoration ecology, and hydrology. But the most important attribute is a commitment to the environment and a desire to make Los Angeles a better place to live! Flexible schedule.
